What to Do About Stress

Stress is on the rise in our world. Acute stressors and unexpected events set off our stress response. When we feel a loss of control or are faced with the unknown, feel helpless, powerless or unsafe, our stress response is triggered. If this state is prolonged, its effect on our bodies can put us at risk for many of the common diseases in our society.
